Where can I BUY that ?!?!

I've got your shopping fix for today!!! For my stylistas or stylistos who love a little edge, these sunglasses might actually be for you. They are called the Love/Hate Convertible Chain Sunglasses and they are made by Kerin Rose. She is the new accessories designer who graced us with an update of this chic style. Her version is a little less costly and kind of guilt free right?!?!?! Anyway I love them and will be rocking them very shortly. You can buy them on http://www.a-morir.com/ for a cool little $ 250.00! Hey now that's cheap compared to the $850 the Chanel version is bidding for on eBay.

So support this up and coming designer and buy them puhleeze!!!!!!!! I'm not knocking Chanel but for us Reccesionistas out there..we have to watch our handbags.........

Hall of Stylista

I believe this person is up on there style game, and it screams confidence. Regardless of how she got there, she's rockin the fits the whole way ladies and gents!! Could she or maybe she already has caught up with Ms. Rhianna?!?!?!?!?!?!?! The one who crept up.....Amber Rose.
I love the gloves, the sufficient use of bright colors and darker tones, and the ability to rock animal print without looking cheesy!!

The Season of Extreme Sunglasses

Sunglasses have become more and more dramatic this past summer. Is it me or are they now coming in all kinds of shapes, colors, and sizes? Every since people have started to embrace the 80s flair, sunglasses have gotten more edgy. For instance, the new chain sunglasses all the fashionistas are wearing. There is a big uproar as to whether designer, Kerin-Rose, originally came up with the design. They are very edgy eighties with a noticeable gold chain running along the outside of the frame.

Another new thing for sunglasses is the addition of color! Sure they may have done the same thing in the seventies or some other era but new age fashion is bringing them back. You can sport sunglasses with over the top sky blues and fiery reds. If color isn't necessarily your top issue, you could easily focus on shape and have plenty to choose from.

Sunglasses are a statement for the masses, and you can go in any direction you like simply because there are so many options. You can channel Andy Warhol, Madonna, Stevie Nicks, or even Amber Rose! LOL!

The Legging Icon and Using its Powers for Good

I would say I pull my leggings out 92 % of the time during the week. They are comfortable, versatile, and they come at all price points. I would never pair leggings with a raggedy old t-shirt because it just appears you did not try. Making a conscious effort even though you are going for a casual look is key. Try making your t-shirt have an eighties feel with an off the shoulder accent; if you just have to go with a basic t-shirt. For the sporty Stylista, I would pair them with colorful sneakers and a colorful or white tee. Since leggings scream "Eighties" to me, I encourage some drama in your ensemble. For instance, larger earrings or a chunky necklace could dress up the look. As I previously mentioned, leggings can go into most seasons and are a lifesaver if you can't bear to part with a dress you wore during the summer. As for using the powers of leggings for good, I recommend NEVER playing them up with tight shirts or anything even similiar to a bra! That's just tacky and the fashion gods would surely strict your ass down! Lol! Another good thing about leggings is no matter your shape they complete any wardrobe. As long as you pay attention to the shirt you decide to put with it; you are cool. I guess it apparent that I have a thing for leggings but anything that highlights my Jordans are a friend of mine.

Taking Summer Clothes into the Fall

Now as you all know..summer does have to come an end. However, your clothes do not have to go in the inevitable hiding place until next summer. There are ways to mix and match your summer/fall pieces. For instance, you may think that you have to give up a certain dress but you don't! Dresses can be paired with boots instead of sandals or flats. You could even add leggings under them for a more cool weather feel. Shirts are another thing people tend to think they have to edit. You can put a shirt with a cute blazer or this season's trendy jacket. Adding in some cute fall accessories such as scarves also give your look a cohesive flair. One thing I believe will ride into this fall is the addition of tights under mini skirts or dresses. I remember when tights were something I would wear with my uniform in elementary school! However, as they say everything old does become new again. You can find tights in a range of colors to suit your mood or you wardrobe. Recycling clothes to other seasons expands your wardrobe and embraces the inner Reccesionista in you!
